The 3.5mm cable lets you connect a PC sound card, portable CD player, MP3 player, iPod(R), or any mini-stereo audio device with 3.5mm jacks to your other audio devices. These cables feature two 27-gauge Oxygen Free Copper conductors, a drain wire, an Aluminum Foil Shield to reject noise, and Gold plated connectors to ensure a quality connection. Connectors: 3.5mm Stereo Male to 3.5mm Stereo Female. Fully molded connectors provide strain relief. Foil shielded to prevent unwanted EMI/RFI interference. Gold-Plated connectors.

This cord is very high quality and reaches the length from the stereo to my recliner. Works great and lets me stay lazy. I'm in heaven.

Nice thick construction. (almost a quarter inch thick. Closer to 5/16) I went with this cable because I was worried about the wire size and duribility.
It was a little more in cost. Worth it I think. The thinner wires seem to short out and break.

I'm using this for an headset exstension from my tv. To not wake the wife up.

Would purchase again.
