This item performs exactly as expected. I purchased this to use headphones on my Nintendo Entertainment system, and it works just fine. Low cost, and no problems.

If you know that you need it and how to use it, this item could save you a lot of money. It saved me about $60 for using a sub-woofer that I already have to connect to my sound-bar instead of buying a new one.

I own a 2000 Marantz SR-14EX receiver. The odd thing is that the Marantz communication between matching inputs and receiver is RCA connector based. But my multiple inputs in my AV system all require 3.5mm mini mono I/O when it comes to remote control. This converter is a fantastic answer to get everything off from the RCA cable standard. This has made my life much easier to control using unmatched vintage components. My menagerie all works together nicely. Who would have thought it possible.

We needed a 3.5mm Mono Female / RCA Male Adaptor to connect to our phone system's music on hold RCA input connector. To connect this with our audio source, we coupled this with a very reasonable Cables Unlimited AUD-1100-25 3.5mm Male to Male Stereo Cable (25 Feet, Black). The price was right for the whole package. This little piece of audio hardware was essential in making it work.
