Good Buy Mar 17, 2011
By l2yan So I did some research before wasting money on these cables and come to find it, it was well worth it to me. I read a lot about switching the red and yellow cable around, so I didn't panic when they didn't work the correct way. So listen, if you can find it within yourself to switch the cable around instead of complaining about it then this is a great buy and does it's job correctly. It was probably a bulk manufacturing mishap thus why these are one of the cheapest cables you can buy. I use them to connect my in dash dvd player to another indash receiver through the aux port. For those curious the FLOW of the RCA's work both ways. Meaning you can use them as a video in or video out, depending on your device. I know this because it also works great for my Samsung Captivate to play movies on my TV.
That being said, to sway you one way or another, I would buy them. I mean really it's less then $4 risk we are talking here. I lose that amount in change over a week so ya. Go for it and you will see that they do the job intended.

This is exactly what it says it is...just be sure you're getting the right one for your camera brand, so there's some variation in the market.

Doesnt work with my portable DVD player. Feb 01, 2012
By GATADIESEL I bought this cable for my Philips portable DVD player, but upon hooking everything up, I get choppy audio and no video. I swapped all the connections around (just in case some of the wires were crossed), but nothing helped.
It may be an issue with the DVD player itself though, I can't 100% say that its a faulty cord. For $3, I have a nice addition to my junk drawer.

It does not work with my Western Digital TV Live Plus unit. Outcome of the video is really bad. I wonder why not all 3.5mm to RCA are created equal.
