What I should have ordered was a module with a stand-off. Other than trying to find a way to mount this product works as described. Would like have found one that only used 2 pair instead of 4 pair. Seems to be a waste of material. whole house dsl filter is nice. The whole house dsl filter allows me to remove those unsightly filters on the wall phones. I would recommend this for anyone looking to do structured cabling. If you don't have a cabinet to mount be sure to pick up the stand-off.

I am a mere homeowner in need of an overall DSL filter for the house. This device was bought in error. It is probably fine equipment, but more detailed than I require. I read the instructions, considered my situation, re-wrapped it and returned it, then bought a much simpler, equally powerful overall line filter made by Leviton, for roughly the same price. This would have worked, but it would also have taken more time to install and been harder to figure out.
