This double sided-Velcro is excellent...
- Cut to whatever length you need.
- 3/4" wide is stronger than 1/2" wide Velcro strapping, which is important if you're tying things like heavy electric cords.
- Quality is excellent. Hooks on one side and loops on the other.
You should have no qualms about buying this excellent product.

Being IT professional, I have used rolls of velcro a lot. This particular product suffers from being a little cheap. It can certainly do the job but it has two main issues. First, it does not hold very well which forces you to use more tha you normally would have to in order to get more overlap so it does not open up. This also causes the edge to lift up and catch on things. The other problem is that when you cut it it starts to fall apart at the edge. The small plastic velcro "J" hooks fall off everywhere and make a mess. Not a huge deal but something I have not seen with other products.
Overall, this product works okay, there is just higer quality ones out there.

Okay, this product has a ton of uses around the house including cable management behind the television. For photography it is darned handy too. I wouldn't be without a roll.
Even if you don't think you need/want it buy some anyways because there will come a time you will NEED this to bee in your toolbox.

I got tired of not having enough ties so I'm glad I went all out and bought these. Now I can clean up everything with it. No holding back. These are better than zip ties and it's nice to be able to do custom length. If you sew you can probably attach them permanently to some of your cables and be even more organized.

I sewed on two strips of the Velcro to my backpack style camera bag so I can easily carry my tripod. It worked great for that and I have a ton left over to use for cable ties or anything else. I like that you can cut to the length you need without any waste, and the added 1/4" in width makes it much stronger than the 1/2" wide rolls.
